- Accepted evidence

- Batch or lot
- An identifier intended to connect a product group to manufacturing or testing records.
- Certificate of analysis (COA)
- A laboratory report describing one or more measurements performed on a submitted sample.
- Comparison group
- Offers for the same compound, form, amount, and package structure that can be compared without hiding meaningful differences.
- Coverage
- How much of the scoring rubric PepGrades could measure with admitted information.
- Grade
- A letter and score summarizing the observed vendor record under a named rubric version.
- Held evidence
- A record kept out of scoring while an identity, source, parsing, or other issue remains unresolved.

- High-performance liquid chromatography, a method commonly used to separate and estimate components in a sample.

- A visible warning that a grade or profile was built without full evidence coverage.
- Observed weight
- The share of the rubric represented by components that had enough admitted evidence to score.
- Profile only
- A vendor record with catalog and evidence context but no publishable grade under the current rules.
- Purity
- An estimate of the main component relative to other detected components under a stated test method; it is not the same as identity, quantity, or sterility.
