Editorial policy

The rules should be inspectable.

PepGrades separates general compound information from the evidence used to grade vendors, and keeps both independent from commercial relationships.

Best-effort public observation.

PepGrades collects and organizes publicly observable vendor information. The process is designed to be repeatable at practical scale. It does not claim complete knowledge of a vendor, product, laboratory, shipment, or customer experience.

Evidence admission.

A record must satisfy the current source, identity, and transformation rules before it can affect a grade. Held and rejected evidence contributes nothing. Source records and transformation versions are retained privately for review and correction.

Grades and shortlists.

The current rubric gives 50 points to testing evidence, 30 to community and fulfillment, and 20 to transparency and support. Community information that cannot be measured stays neutral and makes the grade Limited. Shortlists add current, normalized offer requirements after the vendor meets the trust floor.

Compound guides.

Compound pages use independently curated editorial sources to explain what a compound is, why people seek it out, what has been studied, and where research is limited. This background is separate from vendor evidence and cannot affect grades or shortlist order. The guides do not provide personal recommendations, treatment protocols, or dosing instructions.

Commercial firewall.

Affiliate information and outbound destinations are excluded from scoring and shortlist selection. Commercial attribution is added only after selection, disclosed beside the affected link, and cannot change a grade, eligibility decision, or recommendation order.
